EMBERS Staffing Solutions is a subsidiary of the Eastside Movement for Business and Economic Renewal Society (EMBERS), a non-profit agency that works to combat poverty and assists in the revitalization of Vancouver's inner city by facilitating community-based business development.

EMBERS assists with inner city revitalization by helping individuals and groups start small businesses and social enterprises. We offer self-employment training, one-on-one business coaching, and work with residents, community groups and other stakeholders to develop plans, strategies and specific ventures to improve the lives of residents and build a healthy community.

We have been using Embers services since November of 2008 and have seen the staff exceed expectations each time they're hired. The workers showed up on-time or early for their shifts, they were well-prepared for the tasks assigned and ready to work.
