    All candidates go through an in-person or virtual interview conducted by our Staffing Specialists, who are certified Registered Professional Recruiters (RPR). We use a combination of behavioural and situational questions to assess each worker’s skills, reliability, and fit for various job types and industries. 

    Beyond formal screening, we maintain close, ongoing communication with our workers. Our people-first recruiting team invests time in getting to know each individual — their strengths, goals, and areas for development. This allows us to match them with the right opportunities, offer support along the way, and recognize when they're ready for more responsibility or a more challenging role.

  • Our Temp-to-Permanent service offers a flexible, low-risk way to grow your team. We provide qualified temporary workers who can seamlessly transition into permanent employment after completing 480 hours on assignment.

    This model reduces hiring risk, shortens recruitment timelines, and leads to smoother onboarding by giving you the chance to evaluate a worker’s fit before making a long-term commitment. For our workers, it creates a meaningful pathway to stable employment, allowing them to demonstrate their skills and earn a permanent spot on your team.

    Many of our most successful long-term placements have come through this approach. Our Temp-to-Permanent service is available across a wide range of industries, including hospitality, cleaning, administration, warehousing, and more. 

  • At EMBERS Staffing, we recognized that equipment can be a barrier to finding meaningful work. You don't have to worry about workers being equipped for the job because we provide our staff with the requireed PPE for the role they're placed in through our Lending Library. 

  • We offer background checks upon request and can tailor the type of screening to suit the role’s specific requirements. Depending on your needs, we can conduct criminal record checks, reference checks, driver’s abstracts, and credential verifications.

  • The time required to identify and assign a suitable worker depends on the role’s complexity and skill requirements. For many general labour positions and entry-level positions, we’re often able to fill requests by the next day. More specialized roles may require additional time to ensure proper screening, skills assessment, or certification verification.

    While we’re equipped to handle urgent or last-minute requests, we encourage our clients to provide as much notice as possible. This allows our Staffing Specialists to evaluate our talent pool more thoroughly and ensure the best possible match for your job site or business.
