Acheson Business Awards Nomination

We’re proud to announce that EMBERS Staffing Solutions has been nominated for the Community Award at the upcoming Acheson Business Awards!

This nomination is a meaningful recognition of our work building strong, inclusive communities in Alberta through employment — one person, one job, one day at a time.

Since launching our Edmonton branch, we’ve placed over 85 workers into reliable, living-wage jobs throughout Alberta, with 17 individuals hired on full-time. We’ve built a reputation for 100% job fulfillment and 90%+ worker reliability. But our mission goes beyond placements: we provide workers with access to transportation, tools, PPE, career coaching, and even matched savings and training opportunities to help them succeed in the long run.

Our team has also been proud to partner with NorQuest College to support inclusive hiring, including placements for neurodivergent students, and we continue to prioritize women in trades, newcomers, and individuals overcoming barriers to employment.

We’re deeply honoured to be recognized by the Acheson Business Association — and we share this nomination with the partners, clients, and workers who believe in the power of employment to transform lives and strengthen communities.
